it supposed to be 'i enjoy my life' but no, i want everyone to enjoy their life so i put it as 'Enjoy Your Life! ;D' coz u know what, everything is soo precious.

15th-20th June 2012 

i think this is quite late but nothing is too late rite. lol. what happened? it's the amazing 11th IIUM Interschool Debating Championship!! basically i didn't really enter the competition, i was just the observer together with sister Syakirah. still, having to skip classes for 5 days was worth afterall, when i learned many things. unfortunately, Maahad Hamidiah didn't manage to go to the breaks. but we're really close to it. it was indeed cool, coz we watched our favorite schools ;D

the dinner, it was the best afterall. our table was like very close to the VVIP's table without even knowing who the VVIPs would be. but the guests turned out to be Aznil Nawawi and Datin Norjuma! i was like, uwaaaa~~ but i didn't shout, really. lol. they looked very good. PakNil was very friendly, and Datin Norjuma was really slim and pretty. we managed to take pic with Datin Norjuma, too. but not Paknil, he's too famous -,-

and the final.. was between SDAR and ADNI. we were kinda suprised when their name suddenly raised up coz for the previous year, ADNI was not really at the top. and now they're at final! we're proud for Islamic School!! ;) on the motion 'THBT The Captain has no legal responsibility to be the last man on the ship' SDAR was the gov and ADNI was the opp. sharif was doing very well that he got the best speaker. i like his speech! and definitely, ADNI won!! congrates guys~~ u guys were so great :D

27th-29th June 2012

these days were like the starting of my 'career' as an candidate of assistant of head prefect or CALON penolong ketua pengawas(PKP). well, basically you guys can read here. on the 29th, we got our first task as MT ; and it was kinda tough coz we didn't know much things bout how to handle a program fully by us. alhamdulillah, seniors helped us much and it was all in order when there's a visit from Al-Amin Gombak ;) that was our first program and it ended well ^^

4th-8th July 2012!

this is the highlight of this post! it's 4th MUSLEH International Students Debating Championship :) this was like my second official tournament after HELP when i was form 2 (it was 2 years ago) and i kinda make a precious comeback! lol ;p not to tell you there're too much difficulties that we must go through to get into this competition. especially to get the permission and at last, we decided to pay by ourselves. it was indeed quite costly for us, of course. we got no teacher to be with us, fortunately brother fakhry was good enuf to be there and support us.

the first round, we were against indonesian team. on the motion 'THW Ban Video Games that Promote Crime' we were the government and we won, alhamdulillah! the second round was against al-Amin bangi A and the motion was 'THW Allow Ex-Convicts (Who Have Finished their Sentence) to Run For Elections'. at the time we were in Room 1(the smaller number of room you're in, the higher ranking u are) and alhamdulillah we won again. yeay!! and that's the end of Day 2 with both winning ;) at the time, there were only 7 teams with all win.

the next day, we started round3 early in the morning. it was against Madrasah al-Juneid from Singapore on the motion 'THW Force Companies to Give Paternity Leave as Equal Length as Maternity Leave' and we were the government. to tell u the truth, we were not confident of winning bcoz Madrasah al-Juneid was like a big name in MUSLEH. note that only all wins can fight against all wins. and alhamdulillah once again, we won! ;)) the next round was against al-Amin bangi C and at the time there're only 3 teams with all wins. the 3 teams were maahad hamidiah, al-amin bangi C and smi hidayah. it was harder as we had to go against good teams. for this round, we lost with close margin. the motion was 'THW Ban Government Teachers from Providing After-School Tuition Services' and we were the opposition.

the next and last round before breaks was the silent round. we were against Singaporean and once again we were the government. on the motion 'THW Only Give Government Contracts to Environmentally Friendly Companies' we felt like winning but weren't that sure. we enjoyed ourselves that night without thinking bout debate, we even watched 'The Hunger Games' together lol xD 

the next day, was way more nerve-wracking than ever. i never thought it was like this. i told sister Munierah n Syakirah to accept whatever results will be. the first going to quarter.. SMI Al-Amin Bangi C, second team.. SMI Hidayah, the third is.. SMI Al-Amin Gombak. at that time i had feeling we're not going to quarter, as we supposed to be at 3rd ranking but we weren't there. and the 4th team, was MAAHAD HAMIDIAH! we were like alhamdulillah!! we made it to the breaks! ;)) and after that, it was against MCKK. i was, gulp.

 

 basically how a debate looks like.

i started to be nervous at the quarter. but i tried to be calm. the motion was 'THW Not Give Bailouts to Failing Companies' and we were the government. with 3 judges, (usually it was just 1) we debated and i loved the debate :D it was the best debate so far after the one with Madrasah al-Juneid. we expected not to win, because to be in quarter was good enough for us the newbies. the results was announced at the hall and ya allah i didn't expect this, we're going to semifinals!!!!~ guess what, we're the newbies and we went to semis! alhamdulillah! ;D

and for the semis, we were against al-amin bangi C again. the motion was 'THBT No International Aid Should be In Form Of Money' and we were the government. being the first speaker to talk in front of that many people in the hall, i tried to act calm by adjusting the mics and everything before i started. lol. it was just a way of not being too nervous. with the sleepy atmosphere, i didn't actually do the prep like always. it was crappy afterall. Fakhry was there as the audience, and suddenly our opposition mentioned him. "now let me show you how this FAKHRY'S SCHOOL lost to us". i was kinda ok at that time, but i can see Fakhry stood up and he was angry in his eyes. and then.. "this is the second reason FAKHRY'S SCHOOL lost" and i was like "HEY!!" it was humiliating. i nearly stood up and threw my pen. i was angry. they shouldn't talk about fakhry like that.

and it was my turn to make the reply speech. i was kinda angry, and my first words were "mr. speaker, even if al-amin bangi win today, i will still show to you how this MR. BEAN lost to our FAKHRY'S SCHOOL." lol and the mr bean was actually their 2nd speaker(luqman) who screwed up everything. and at the end of the speech i said "even if they're going to final today, we'll still... support our Fakhry forever." and the audiences gave a big round of applause. i was satisfied, at least. but after that, they apologized. but still, they shouldnt do that. i've not seen fakhry being angry for such long time.

and the result was announced when we were chatting with MCKK guys and also from SMI Hidayah. when we entered the hall, the results had been announced and it was al-amin bangi vs smi hidayah for the final! =) we lost with margin 1 and judge split 3-2. but it was ok. sincerely, i didn't prepared to be in final for our first tournament.

the motion for the final.. was 'THBT Olympics Should Ban Saudi Arabia if They Don't Send Women' sumthing like that. SMIH for gov and SMI al-Amin bangi for the opp. it was an interesting debate, although somtimes it could be kinda boring. the best part was their last words for reply speech, that they want the trophies to be theirs. lol. that night, our Syakirah got the 8th ranking for best speakers. congrates! mine? basically it's 12th and above, coz rmai yg sme markah. click here for TOP 20 speakers.

the next day, yeay!! we the semifinalists got to sit at the reserved places. we're receiving trophies! yeay! ;) and i sat beside ADNI's Aliyal, and this is how i'm close to her until now at twitter lol. we talked quite much things and she was quite humble ;) i said "seeing u guys at final, i was afraid to approach you" and she replied "eh no laa" and we talked like usual ;D so maahad hamidiah was called, and the moment i receive the trophy, i cant help but to keep on looking at it. the feeling was good :DD alhamdulillah.

and the champions are.. BM - STAR. BI - SMI Hidayah. BA - SMI Hidayah.

Today - 13th July 2012

i just knew that there're peopl who still cant accept me being their leader. with the reason that i'm too strict. i tried to muhasabah myself, and with my friends help, we still cant actually find the point where i'm VERY strict at. i ended up ignoring the minority with seniors', friends' and teachers' advice.

that evening, we met fakhry again for the training. and he told me the schedules we should have. there're still 2 upcoming tournaments that i should go, but i.....am not sure~ i shouldn't be too busy like crazily. tomorrow is gonna be hari koperasi, sunday is KOT (sports day) and monday i'll enter the asrama. i basically don't have any holidays/weekends for like months and i'm already tired =,= 

but i believe.. Allah is always with me, helping me. and because of that, i can still stand as a strong person today. with people support and Allah's help, insyaAllah.
